The summer holidays are flying past and the opportunity to kick start the autumn term with the day of playing music from scratch is also coming soon. Do book you place, we are looking forward to welcoming you to a very friendly day.

Following a very successful play day in January this year, when we hosted many musicians from the wider regions who came to play Jupiter and Harry Potter from scratch, we are organising another play day on September 5th.

Full orchestral rehearsal of Jupiter.

Like the previous fun day we will be tackling a classical master piece and a renouned contemporary composition. The chosen pieces are the beautiful 'Ma Vlast' translated 'My Country' composed by Smetna to describe his beautiful Czech countryside, and the awesome 'Jurassic Park' described as the most beautiful piece of music ever composed by John Williams.

We will have joint orchestral rehearsals and section rehearsals conducted by three experienced amateur orchestra conductors. This will provide a wonderful fun day, that is relaxed and entertaining, and will allow you to get to know the music and enjoy the company of other musicians.
