UHOrchestra Invites Brass, String & Percussion Players to Join!!

Do you play a BRASS (in particular trumpet & Trombone), STRING (in particular, violin, viola, cello or double bass) or PERCUSSION instrument?

The orchestra has celebrated another year of continued success. We have played a number of concerts to sell out audiences and have introduced the Play Day when we play more challenging pieces from scratch, the next date September 5th (Details on Website). As we are a community orchestra that welcomes musicians from a wide range of ages and occupations that includes school and university students (Keele and Staffordshire Universities), we develop vacancies as students are successful in their degrees and move into new careers.

We are looking for new members. If you play any of the musical instrument, do consider joining us. We do NOT hold auditions, musicians of all standards are welcomed. We play a wealth of music that includes orchestral and concert band scores, therefore have numerous members who play 'non-standard' orchestral instruments, eg. saxophone providing transposed music for these instruments.

If you are looking to start at Keele or Staffordshire University this autumn, dont leave your instruments at home but come and join us. You will find you will be playing a great repertoire of music.

Come and join us now as we continue to rehearse over summer holidays or join us when you start at your university courses in September.
