UHOrchestra Hosts Jupiter and Harry Potter from Scratch

University Hospital Orchestra invites you to join us on January 10th 2026, from 9:30 am to 4:30 pm when we are will enjoy a day exploring Gustav Holst's Jupiter and the music of Harry Potter from Scratch. We are planning to rehearse as an orchestra and in sections to enable us to get to know these wonderful pieces of music. We plan to enjoy a relaxed rehearsal with the help of leads for each section.

We would encourage to join us for what promises to be a fun and interesting day. You will be able to get to know, perhaps for the first time, both iconic classical music and fillm scores. We will take time to overcome the challenges of the well known standards, and bring it all together with a concert and tea for families and friends at 5:30 pm. Come and join in, book you place and tell us what instrument you play. (lunch is a bring and share, refreshments will be provided throughout the day, and tea for the concert).
